town centre. The historic Cinque Port of Sandwich, and its golf courses,
is a short drive away. The house is about 200 yards from the cliff top
promenade, which overlooks the harbour and the English Channel.

The Thanet coast is included on the list of the best wildlife sites in Europe.
Covering some 635 hectares the Sandwich and Pegwell Bay Wildlife reserve, is of international importance. The reserve is noted for its bird population and is but a short distance from Ramsgate.
